Not Showing on Google
If the page is not indexed, or it ranks for the wrong query, the phone does not ring. Pretty is irrelevant. We check whether Google can find the page and whether the page matches what people search.
Four causes
Why Google is not sending people
- Not indexed
- The page exists. Google has not taken it, or it was dropped.
- Wrong query
- It ranks, but for words nobody uses to hire you.
- No local signal
- Maps and the local pack are empty. The site alone will not fill them.
- One URL for everything
- The homepage tries to rank for five services. It ranks for none.
What we check
Six reasons you are invisible
Before ads or a redesign, we look at these. Most of the time the page is simply not in the index, or it is in for the wrong thing.
- 01
Indexed or not
We look for
Indexed service URLs, not just the homepage. Impressions above zero.
No impressions means Google is not showing the page. We check Search Console: which URLs are indexed, which are excluded, and whether the service pages are the ones missing. A blog post in the index and a service page out of it is a common leak.
- 02
Query match
We look for
Title and H1 aligned with the query. Not a slogan.
The page can be indexed and still invisible for the words that hire you. Title, H1, and the first screen have to match the query. Brand slogans do not. We compare the page against the searches a customer would actually type.
- 03
Page hierarchy
We look for
One primary page per service. Not five offers on the homepage.
One homepage cannot rank for five services. Each offer needs a URL Google can understand. If everything important lives on one page, patches to that page will not create rankings.
- 04
Technical blocks
We look for
No accidental noindex. Sitemap includes the pages that should rank.
noindex, a blocked robots.txt, a canonical pointing elsewhere, or a sitemap that omits the pages that matter. These are small and they remove the site from Google entirely.
- 05
Local pack
We look for
Business Profile live, NAP consistent, location on the page.
For a local business, Maps is the search result. A website with no Google Business Profile, no consistent name and phone, and no location on the page will not appear in the pack. The site and the profile have to say the same thing.
- 06
Speed as a block
We look for
Page usable on mobile. Not a template that fails vitals.
A page that barely loads can be crawled and still not shown. We check whether Core Web Vitals or a broken mobile layout is keeping the URL out of results that it otherwise deserves.
Ads will not index the page
Paying for clicks does not put a page in Google. If Search Console shows no impressions, the problem is indexing or the query, not the budget.
We start with the free audit: which URLs are indexed, whether the titles match real queries, and whether Maps and the site agree. No site access required.

Questions
Before you buy ads
Why is my website not on Google?
Usually it is not indexed, the titles do not match real queries, or everything sits on one homepage. We check those before anything else.
I have a Google Business Profile. Why no calls?
The profile and the site have to agree, and the profile has to be complete. A website alone does not fill the local pack.
Do I need a new website to rank?
Not if the current one can be indexed and edited. A rebuild does not create rankings by itself.
How long before I show up?
Indexing can move in weeks. Ranking for competitive queries takes longer. The audit says which of the two you are stuck on.
Can you check without access?
Yes. The free audit uses the public site and does not need logins.
