Website Not Getting Leads
Most sites that get no leads are not broken visually. The offer is unclear, the page does not match the search, or there is no path to contact. We find which one it is.
Four checks
Why a site gets traffic and still no leads
- Nobody arrives
- The page is not indexed, or it ranks for the wrong queries
- Wrong people arrive
- Traffic exists, but it is not looking for what you sell
- Right people, no path
- The offer is vague, trust is weak, or the next step is buried
- Leads die after the form
- The inquiry arrives and nothing happens. No reply, no owner, no follow-up.
What we check
Six places a lead dies
Before a redesign or an SEO retainer, we look at these. Most of the leak is in one or two of them.
- 01
Offer clarity
We look for
One clear offer, one audience, one next step. Not a list of everything you do.
A visitor should know what you sell, who it is for, and what happens next before they scroll. If the first screen is a slogan, a stock photo, and three equal services, they leave. We check whether the offer can be repeated back in one sentence.
- 02
Search match
We look for
Title, H1, and first screen aligned with the query. Not brand-only copy.
The person arrived from a query. The page has to answer that query, not introduce the brand. A homepage that talks about “solutions” and “excellence” does not match “emergency roof repair” or “bookkeeping for contractors.” We check title, H1, and the first screen against the queries that actually send people.
- 03
Indexing
We look for
Indexed URLs, impressions, and whether the right pages are the ones
No impressions means no leads, no matter how good the page is. We check whether the important URLs are indexed, whether Search Console shows any queries at all, and whether the pages that rank are the ones that can convert. A blog post ranking while the service page sits out of the index is a common leak.
- 04
Trust
We look for
Concrete proof on the page: who you are, where you work, what a client actually gets.
People do not inquire from a page that could belong to anyone. We look for who is behind the company, where you work, what a finished job looks like, and one concrete detail a competitor would not copy. A pretty layout with no proof reads as a template.
- 05
Path to contact
We look for
One primary action above the fold and a form that can actually be submitted.
One primary action. A form that submits, a phone that is clickable, a next step that is obvious on mobile. Three equal buttons, a contact link only in the footer, or a form that errors out — all of these kill the lead after the person already decided to act.
- 06
Follow-up
We look for
Who receives the inquiry and whether a reply exists. A form with no owner is a dead end.
The form is not the lead. The reply is. We check who receives the inquiry, how fast, and whether anything is set up to answer it. A working form that lands in an unread inbox, or in an inbox nobody owns, is the same as no form.
Redesign is not the first move
A new design does not create demand. If Search Console shows almost no impressions, the problem is visibility, not the button color. If impressions exist and clicks do not convert, the problem is the page or the offer.
We start with the free audit: offer, journey, lead capture, SEO basics, AI-search readiness. No access to the site required. You get a punch list, not a 40-page PDF.

Questions
Before you pay for a redesign
Do I need a new website if I get no leads?
Not always. If the site is not indexed or the offer is unclear, a rebuild wastes the budget. We audit first.
What if I have traffic but no inquiries?
That is usually offer clarity, trust, or the contact path. Traffic is not the problem.
Can you tell without access to my site?
Yes for the free audit. We review the public site, structure, and search basics.
Is this an SEO problem or a conversion problem?
Often both. The audit separates them so you do not pay for the wrong fix.
How fast can I get the audit?
Send the URL. No long call and no payment for the free version.
